Whilst you might need to put in a few extra hours occasionally, it is a bad idea to get into the habit of doing so in a regular basis. Remember, you will still need your own time, and it is extremely important to retain a good work/life balance.

Don’t forget, that running your own business does mean taking care of the financial or production aspects of your company. You will also need to make sure that you are promoting your brand, and networking with others in your field. In order to evolve, you should be continuously thinking about ways in which your business might be improved, especially if you hoping to expand.
